If not for God, who sends His love to me, I could not inspire those who seek Him.
If not for God, who teaches us to be strong, I could not encourage the weak, nor realize it’s wrong to judge and condemn.
If not for God, who opens my eyes to see nature’s beauty, I could not rise above life’s stormy sea.
If not for God, who hears my every cry, I would not have known that He knew my trials before they knew me.
If not for God, who was holding out His hand to me when conflicts arose, I would not have remembered to reach back for my brother or sister across infinite isles.
If not for God, who listened with a loving heart when I shed numerous tears, I would never have been able to find my perfect smile.
If not for God, who swaddles me in His grace and mercy, I would have perished during the cold and lonely nights.
If not for God, who looked down from heaven and comforted me in my darkness, I would not have seen His true and shining light.
If not for God, tears would always fall when others scorn and mar my name?
If not for God, I would run to fear, dread and shame.
If not for God, I would not understand His omnipotent power.
If not for God, every small problem would appear to be my last hour.
If not for God, there could be no joy simmering in my soul when my best is not good enough.
If not for God, I could not discover healing in laughter when the hard times get rough.
If not for God, I would not know that freedom comes from peace within.
If not for God, I couldn’t understand that the answer to life’s most difficult questions are those that only heaven can bring.
