There is a joy in my heart that keeps peace and love from drifting apart that my lips dare not speak.
There are delights and wounds from triumphs small and great and injuries left too soon that my soul can never leak.
There is comfort from all the pain that shines upon my rain and it’s found in the name of Jesus.
There are fires left burning in my mind from every lesson and unspoken rhyme that hides under layers of secrets.
There are people who call themselves friends while smiling from one face on the flip side of a dime and throwing darts of treachery from private spaces like enemies leaving no traces of their crimes.
There is a mountain that seems hard to climb and a river that may never be swam if left for me to conquer alone but whatever may come my way has a season carried upon diamond leaflets.
There is comfort from all the pain that shines upon my rain and it’s found in the name of Jesus.
There is something about that name, it’s like no other and the answer to my prayers and all of my cares are found in the name of Jesus!
There is comfort from all the pain that shines upon my rain and it’s found in the name of Jesus.
