In Memory of my sweet cousin, Kalia Olivia Horton:

“Now I remember…When an angel comes, it stays ever so briefly and then it flies away and returns unto its Creator.”

Dear Lord,

Today, my heart is heavy and the questions stirring in my mind are like millstones tied around my neck. Suddenly, I realize that you are in control. My Questions desire answers but You, Oh God, are my solutions. My Questions seek understanding but You, Oh God, are my knowledge. My Questions create weakness but You, Oh God, are my strength. My Questions lead to doubt but You, Oh God, are my faith. My Questions open a void but You, Oh God, are my hope. My Questions lead to the edge of the abyss but You, Oh God, are my substance. My Questions inquire about life itself but You, Oh God, are the Healing Virtue and the Evidence that humanity seeks.

“Now I remember…When an angel comes, it stays ever so briefly and then it flies away and returns unto its Creator.”
