Happy New Year! 2022

Learning to free oneself of unnecessary mental burdens is a conscious effort that will have to be practiced over time but the rewards are great.

There is a price to pay for carrying around old psychological wounds.

There is a price to pay for worrying over bills that you simply cannot pay.

There is a price to pay for wondering what might have been from an old relationship.

There is a price to pay for accepting failure and deciding not to get up and try again.

There is a price to pay for spewing anger rather than sharing words of forgiveness and for not releasing thoughts of positivity into the universe.

There is a price to pay for rarely acknowledging blessings and barely being grateful for quondam fulfillments.

Mental Burdens develop into Guilty Debts over the course of time…Debts that become increasingly difficult to repay, as life goes on. Those Burdens of Guilt and Shame may become Mountains of Destruction and Walls of Defeat in life that are carried as mental baggage. The longer one walks around with heavy baggage the heavier it becomes and the arms will grow weak, weary and eventually, collapse.

A New Year’s Prayer to Renew Strength:

“Dear God, teach me how to release my burdens of guilt, shame and anger. Renew in me a spirit of forgiveness and freedom. Fill my heart with grace, peace, determination and love. Whenever possible, allow me to share my blessings with one of your creations in need. I am thankful for life, for the task of survival and for all the goodness and achievements that will enter my life during this New Year! Thank you Holy Spirit! Amen.”
