My dear daughter, as I look into your eyes, I pray for your happiness.

As I hold you in my loving arms, I pray for your safety.

As I kneel down on my knees, I pray for your salvation.

As I enjoy your beautiful smile, I pray for God’s guidance in your life.

As I absorb your enthusiasm, I pray that all of your dreams come true!

As I watch you speak with authority, I pray that God grants you wisdom.

As I stand along beside you through your mistakes in life, I pray that God’s protection surrounds you.

As I share in the brightness of your future, while you are choosing a mate, I pray that you and your house will do as Joshua and “serve ye the Lord”.

As I witness you seeking blessings for you and your children, I pray that God bestows upon you the desires of your heart.

As I am blessed to see you grow older, stronger in your faith and more beautiful within, I pray that your spiritual journey leads you to eternal life. Amen.
